BioI'm realizing more and more that there aren't many outlets for reviews on books, both new and old. Being a writer, I should do what I can to give everyone the information I know about books so people have something to decide what books to pick up. With that in mind, I've decided to keep this journal as a review blog. It started as my reading journal for my Master's degree, but I know I will be reading more now than before.
So this is generally how it will go. I'll give the Vitals on the book (Title, Author, Publisher, Page count, and ISBN) and then a review of varying length depending on my reaction to a book. I will never say, "So and so" is a horrible writer. I may think it, but all I'm here to do is to highlight strengths and weaknesses in a story.
Please feel free to comment. All I ask is to keep personal attacks on myself, the author of the book, or other comments off. If you don't like a book or an author, fine. But there is no reason to start fights.
Friend me as you wish, just don't be surprised if i don't friend back. I have a personal journal on here, that is where I keep track of friends lives. This is to share knowledge of books with others. If your journal is another reading journal or book review blog, I will probably friend that because I'm always on the look for good books and trust recommendations more than back blurbs.
